It’s that time again. GO VOTE. I don’t care if you’re a donkey, elephant, indie, none of the above, banana, chicken wing, or anything else. Make the effort to go vote or mail your ballots in on time. You only have until 11:59PM your time tonight.

And again, oh to be in SF right now. Congratulations to the San Francisco Giants! Wish I was there to celebrate too.

Specifically for you web designers out there, here is a handy built in Mac OS app that I didn’t know about until now. I was in search for a Mac alternative to Iconico’s Colorpic Tool (http://bit.ly/abxtW5) and happen to stumble upon the DigitalColor Meter app.

This tool does one thing, but does it really well. DigitalColor Meter will help you easily identify the exact RGB values for any pixel on the screen. I wish I had known about this ages ago. What a time saver! You can even copy and paste the exact RGB 8-bit HEX value for easy coding using keyboard shortcuts: Command-Shift-C

Here is where you can find DigitalColor Meter on your Mac: /Applications/Utilities

So go on, drag this little gem to your desktop dock for easy access.

Sunny San Francisco

Another gorgeous day in sunny San Francisco. I needed to get out of the house so I decided to walk around the city since it was almost 70 degrees and sunny. I encourage everyone to occasionally get out of the house and walk aimlessly around your surrounding area. It cleanses the mind and allows you to spot things that you would normally miss in your every day busy lifestyle. Such as this:

Santa Claus dry cleaning his suit.

Even jolly old Mr. Claus has to dry clean his uniform for the upcoming season. Jeanie and I always walked by this cleaner on Polk St. and joked about the person who has to pick up that suit. Today I realized that it was a marketing gimmick for the company. I never noticed the name of the dry cleaners.  2 and 2 put together…

Also spotted this on my walk. I can’t tell which proposition it’s opposing, but here’s to my interest of stencil graffiti:

Tomorrow, I’m going to walk around the city again. My last full day here. I’m not sure when I’ll be back. Although it seems nearly impossible at this moment, I do need to move down here. Crossing my fingers and hoping for the best.

BTW, I ♥ my iPhone 4 camera. It has replaced my Leica D-Lux 4 for everyday candid photos.

The dinner entries were good. I think Jeanie’s dish was a bit tastier than mine. She even used the remaining bread to clean the sauce from her plate. She loved it!

This was the first time I’ve ever ordered scallops. It wasn’t bad, just got over the taste pretty quickly.
